Dova Privacy Policy

At Dova, we believe your creative process should be fully yours: private, stress-free, and free of unnecessary data collection. We built this tool so you can focus on making fun, tactile torn paper art without worrying about who's tracking your work or collecting your personal details. This policy explains exactly what (if anything) we do with your information, in plain, no-jargon language.

Core rule first: You never need to create an account, share any personal details, or connect to the internet to use 100% of Dova's features. All editing and creation happens directly on your device, period.

Information We Never Collect

We are committed to collecting as little data about you as possible -- in fact, we collect almost none. The following information is never accessed, stored, or shared by Dova:

• Personal identifying information: We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any personal details to unlock features
• Your creative content: All imported images, custom patterns, torn paper drafts, layer edits, and finished exports are processed entirely locally on your device. We never upload, view, or store any of your creations, no matter how cool they are
• Usage tracking data: We don't log what paper textures you use, how you adjust tear roughness, how many layers you stack, or any other in-app behavior. No hidden analytics tools are running in the background
• Device data: We don't collect your device ID, IP address, location data, or any other technical information about your device beyond what is required for basic app functionality, which never leaves your device
• Payment information: All core Dova features are free forever, and we never process or store any payment details

Information We May Collect (Only If You Volunteer It)

The only time we receive any information from you is if you choose to reach out to us directly via email, for example to:

• Report a bug or request a new feature
• Share your Dova creations with us voluntarily
• Ask for support with the app

In these cases, we will only use the information you provide (your email address, the content of your message, any attachments you include) to respond to your request. We will never add your email to a marketing list, sell your contact details to third parties, or share your creations publicly without your explicit written permission.

Third Party Service Notes

The Dova app itself includes no third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs of any kind. If you downloaded Dova from a third-party app distribution platform (such as an official mobile app store), that platform may collect its own usage and device data according to its separate privacy policy. We do not control or take responsibility for data collected by these external platforms.

Your Privacy Rights

We respect all user rights to control their personal information: If you have previously contacted us and shared personal details with us, you can email us at any time to request that we permanently delete all records of your correspondence and any associated personal information. We will complete these requests within 10 business days with no additional verification required.

Policy Updates

We may update this privacy policy occasionally as we add new features to Dova. If we make any material changes that affect how we handle your information, we will post a prominent notice inside the app at least 15 days before the updated policy takes effect. Continuing to use Dova after the updated effective date means you agree to the revised terms.
